Just your opinion: 2010 VW GTI or 2010 Mazda 3 Hatchback?
Personally, I would for for the GTI just because of the amazing German engineering that comes with the car. I think the interior is much nicer and the materials are of higher quality. It’s also faster.
But when thinking about going out there and buying one, I feel you’ll get more for your money in the Mazda. I’d be able to pick one up with leather, upgraded audio and an auto trans. for 25,000 whereas the GTI would be at 25,000 with the DSG transmission.
What are your opinions?

From my experience I think the Mazda will give you less trouble, is more fun to drive, and will retain better value.
screw auto trans, but if you must drive an auto, the VW’s DSG is damn near as good as it gets! Dual Clutch technology allows for almost instantaneous shifting! Throw in some paddle shifters and you are ready to light folks up. i also just trust VW more. As far as auto engineering they are on top of the world. don’t settle for less!
MAZDA!
or you can wait and get the new 370z roadster for less than 25 grand
also think about the new camero and charger
The new Volkswagen GTI gets an outstanding 39.7 mpg which is important during this economy. The VW’s are also have a great leather interior and a great engine.
Also, you need to know where you will be driving more often; the city or the highway, in which the mpg differs. The new Mazda hatchback gets about 24 mpg in the city and about 33 mpg on the highway.
Go for the VW.
