No – there is no VR6 turbo – in North America all 2007 Beetles have the normally aspirated. 2.5L five – although there have been turbo 4′s (1.8) in previous years.
I don’t believe VW has ever had either a VR6 in the New Beetle or a turbo VR6 in any car – at least not in North America.
In the US, Volkswagen has never made a VR6 New Beetle.
They only come in a 2.5 liter normally aspirated in line 5 and in previous years, made a 1.8 liter turbocharged in line 4.
previous years either came with a 2.0l or the 1.8t and no the 1.8t was not diesel. newer ones come with the 2.5l. VW has never put a VR6 into the Beetle due to its size
i dont know much about it but VW did make an AWD v6 beetle at some point, in never cams to USA but it was made its pretty rare and lots of $$ search the net im sure you will find it
